African Bridge Network, in coordination with the Boston Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement (MOIA), the Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development (OWD), and World Education Service (WES) is proud to share the outcomes of the 2022 Cohort of the Immigrant Professionals Fellowship. The Fellowship is a partnership with employers to address racial and economic disparities in the workforce by creating a diverse talent pipeline whilst providing the opportunity for the fellows to get U.S. working experience.
The 2022 Cohort placed 16 talented, diverse, and multilingual professionals with local healthcare and research institutions allowing them to gain the needed U.S. work experience to access jobs in the industry and advance in their careers. These individuals were placed with some of the premier healthcare facilities in the world: Mass General Brigham, Boston Children’s Hospital, Boston Medical Center, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. A majority of these fellows have secured full-time positions with our employee partners.

We envision a day when the skills of immigrant professionals are highly valued and they can use their past experiences to build their careers, support their families, and make meaningful contributions to our society.
