2023 Immigrant Professionals Fellowship
African Bridge Network, in coordination with the Boston Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement (MOIA), the Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development (OWD), and World Education Service (WES) is proud to share the outcomes of the 2023 Cohort of the Immigrant Professionals Fellowship. The Fellowship is a partnership with employers to address racial and economic disparities in the workforce by creating a diverse talent pipeline whilst providing the opportunity for the fellows to get U.S. working experience.
The 2023 Cohort placed 26 talented, diverse, and multilingual professionals with local healthcare, research, and finance institutions allowing them to gain the needed U.S. work experience to access jobs in the industry and advance in their careers. These individuals were placed with employers, such as Mass General Brigham, Boston Children’s Hospital, Boston Medical Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, and New York Life Insurance. A majority of these fellows have secured full-time positions with our employee-partners.
