Click for the March 9th, 2022 Press Release
In 2021 the African Bridge Network, in coordination with the Boston Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement (MOIA), the Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development (OWD) and World Education Service (WES) launched the Immigrant Professionals Fellowship which matched 10 highly qualified foreign trained professionals with four of the premier healthcare facilities in the world: Mass General Brigham, Boston Children’s Hospital, Boston Medical Center, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
This fellowship is a direct effort to help address racial and economic disparities in the healthcare field in the Greater Boston area. Building off the successful pilot program, the 2022 cohort will place 25 talented, diverse, and multilingual professionals with local healthcare and research institutions so they can gain the needed US work experience to access jobs in the industry and advance in their careers.
