Join ABN, the Commonwealth Seminar and MIRA for a virtual fireside chat on the importance of immigrant leaders in government and politics. 

In this fireside chat, we are joined by Leverett Wing, President and CEO of the Commonwealth Seminar, and Maroni Minter, Political Director of MIRA. Their conversation will highlight the importance of immigrant leaders in government and politics, why it is crucial to get involved, and the impact of the Commonwealth Seminar for mentoring and creating a new group of diverse leaders.

The Commonwealth Seminar is an intensive training program focused on teaching diverse leaders how the legislative process really works. Their goal is to encourage diverse leaders to become effective advocates and to pursue careers in public service.

Speakers:

Leverett Wing, President and CEO of Commonwealth Seminar, is a nationally recognized leader, social entrepreneur and community mobilizer who has been building bridges and allyships between communities, businesses, organizations, and some of the regions & nation’s most influential leaders for over twenty years.

Maroni Minter, Political Director of MIRA, has worked as an Activist, Campaign Director, Organizer, and more across multiple organizations.
