WHY PARTNER WITH US?
Highly skilled, culturally diverse, ready to work.
Fill Roles
Our participants concentrate in healthcare, business administration, finance, and more. That is not an accident of who walks through the door. It is where the shortages are, and where a career built abroad transfers most directly to the work you need done.
Fuel Innovation
A hospital administrator trained in Lagos. A finance lead trained in São Paulo. A clinical researcher trained in Manila. Each one arrived having solved hard problems under constraints your team has never faced. These constraints fuel unique skills and techniques and bring new innovative ideas to the table.
Deepen Impact
Our participants come primarily from Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Caribbean, and bring with them languages and cultural fluency that help you engage your clients and customers in new and meaningful ways. The people you serve recognize themselves in the people serving them.
What ABN’s Certification Program Is (and Why It Matters)
Certification is not a resume review. It is a months‑long program with a pass or fail at the end.
Certification produces a document, and the document travels with the candidate.
It opens with a cohort and a language assessment measured against a professional standard rather than a self‑report. ABN verifies the degree, the US equivalency, and the work history. Digital and workplace skills get built and tested. A project management course follows, with a capstone drawn from real employer projects. The resume, the cover letter, and the LinkedIn profile get rebuilt for an American reader, and interview practice runs with advisors who have made the same landing themselves.
Finish all of it and the certification is earned. You get the report.
ABN Verifies
You Skip
The immigration question. There isn’t one.
Guessing what a credential from another system is worth.
Finding out in the interview, or in week three.
Inferring capability from a job title in a country you have never worked in.
The tooling ramp.
The unwritten curriculum. Meetings, feedback, escalation, email. Nobody teaches it and everybody is judged on it.

EMPLOYER PARTNERSHIP PATHWAYS
From Low-Risk Entry Points to High-Impact Talent
Each one asks a little more than the last. You can stop at any of them.
Send us a project
Every ABN cohort completes a capstone using real projects from employer partners. Send us one. You get finished work back and a look at how these candidates think, before you have committed to anything.
What it costs you? Time to scope a project and provide feedback.
Host a fellow
The Immigrant Professionals Fellowship places a professional with your organization for four months, paid. You get a full quarter to watch someone work in the actual role before anyone signs anything.
What it costs you? A desk, a supervisor, and assignments.
Hire directly
When you have a req, we bring you certified candidates who fit it. No fee. You can also recruit on site at our events.
What it costs you? Nothing. ABN does not charge placement or referral fees.
Where We Make The Biggest Impact
As a non-profit organization, African Bridge Network isn’t driven by volume—we’re driven by outcome. We work intimately with a selective group of highly skilled immigrant professionals each year, providing the credential recognition and workplace orientation needed to match them directly to critical local talent shortages where their international expertise translates seamlessly.
We don’t measure success by resume volume or recruitment fees. If you’re looking for mass hiring, call an agency. If you have critical roles open and want to unlock high-performing immigrant talent while advancing your goals, let’s talk.

We helped change the law
ABN helped pass the Massachusetts Physician Pathway Act, which lets internationally trained physicians reach full licensure by practicing three years in underserved communities, without the traditional residency requirement. It is the kind of problem we work on when the problem turns out to be the system.

OUR PURPOSE
Highly educated immigrant professionals often face systematic barriers that force them to restart their careers from square one, while local employers face persistent talent shortages. As a nonprofit, ABN changes that equation. We make proven global experience visible, trusted, and actionable for local hiring needs.
We envision a day when the skills of immigrant professionals are highly valued and they can use their past experiences to build their careers, support their families, and make meaningful contributions to our society.
