Celebrating 10 Years of Impact

Join us in celebrating the 10-year anniversary of African Bridge Network (ABN). Over the past decade, we’ve transformed the lives of hundreds of skilled immigrants, helping them rebuild their careers, unlock new opportunities, and make meaningful contributions to society.

The Need

Why do we do this work? Massachusetts has over 240,000 college-educated immigrants facing barriers to career advancement. These individuals play a critical role in solving the state’s employment challenges. The inability to connect foreign, college-educated graduates with jobs that match their skills costs the state approximately $2.3 billion annually in lost earnings and productivity.

Our Impact

Program Highlights

Since the Immigrant Professionals Fellowship’s inception in 2021, 78 fellows have graduated from 22 different departments with our employer partners. 86% were placed in full-time roles post-fellowship, 76% were still in this role after two years, and 46% were promoted.

Milestones & Accomplishments

Make an Impact

To celebrate a decade of impact, we have launched our 2025 fundraising campaign with an ambitious goal: to raise $25,000 in 2025 to continue to expand our vital programs that transform lives.

Your support will:

  • Create a streamlined approach for hiring skilled immigrants that makes it easier for employers to recognize and tap into exceptional immigrant talent.
  • Introduce AI programs and equip skilled immigrants with cutting-edge tools to secure better career outcomes in today’s evolving job market.
  • Expand the Fellowship to unlock career opportunities across industries. Graduating fellows secure employment within six months of finishing the program and a 50% salary increase.

Will you join us in making a difference today?
