Takudzwa Moses Mandizha is an experienced business administrator from Zimbabwe. Takudzwa moved to the United States four years ago to search for better opportunities for himself.

Takudzwa earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Solusi University. He worked a variety of jobs for different companies, such as loan management for an enterprise company, and distribution for British and American tobacco within Zimbabwe. Takudzwa’s work experience and education equipped him with marketing, selling, and financial skills he was excited to take to the United States workforce.

When he first came to America, Takudzwa worked a job in a call center where he felt his skills were underused. From there, he got a position as a mortgage underwriter before applying for the ABN Fellowship. “My biggest challenge was finding that experience in corporate America and networking. I needed to find the right people to network with that could help accelerate my chosen career.”

Takudzwa worked for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as a Grants Specialist, which enabled him to build an impressive network. He emphasized the support he received from ABN and his supervisor from Beth Israel, Sabrina, “I always had a lot of questions on things, and it was always kind of exciting for both of us when I asked something she didn’t know. We got to learn together, and she really gave me a platform to shine and show my talents.”

Takudzwa graduated in May of 2023 with a Master of Science in Business Analytics from UMass Amherst, which has been one of many of his achievements since moving to the United States.
