Orientation Workshop for Foreign-Trained Professionals

African Bridge Network (ABN) creates a network for foreign-trained professionals in Massachusetts by connecting them with professional mentors, social service providers, community leaders, and other immigrant professionals. The workshops are designed to introduce immigrant professionals to this network so that no time is lost in their successful integration.

Curriculum topics vary, but can include maintaining legal immigrant status, finding a job and understanding workplace culture, building a career in the US, accessing healthcare, education, and social services, finding housing, and managing personal finances. The workshops are led by professionals in the various fields.

Who will benefit from the Orientation Workshop?

Recent immigrants with a foreign college degree and work experience.
